June 30-- 6:30 pm

We will meet at Keepsake Images Studio in Lyman to go over all the details and make sure everyone has everything they need.  We will then travel to the small pond area in the mountains. Plan on 1-3 outfits. Bring fun summer outfits, hats, personal accessories, and more.

July 10-- 6:30 pm

We will meet at Keepsake Images Studio to make sure everyone has everything  then travel to Hamblin Park in Evanston. We will have a picnic, provided by Keepsake Images. After we eat we will do pictures in the Evanston alleyways and round house. Plan on 1-3 outfits. Jeans, boots, jackets, hats,  and more.

Senior Session Do’s and Don’ts

Do!!

1—Watch those hemlines. We want to be able to sit, squat, lay down, and more, and we don’t want to worry about what’s showing. This goes for low cut shirts as well.

2— Wear colors you are naturally drawn to. 

3— Wear at least lip gloss and mascara. Even if you’re not big into makeup, lip gloss and mascara really help your face pop in photos. A little blush is good too.

4—Iron your clothes and have them neat and hanging, ready to go. I do charge to remove unnecessary wrinkles.

5—Include layers. Jackets and accessories can add so much! Bring all the accessories! 

6—Bring things that are personal and all about you! I’m all for incorporating anything that tells your story.

7—Moisturize. Both skin and lips.

8—Make sure your underclothes match your outer clothes. We don’t want bright showing through light, straps showing with strapless, etc.

9—Ask me for opinions and help!

Don’t!!!

1—Wear bold patterns. Big, bold patterns are attention hogs. Let’s keep the focus on you.

2— Wear graphic tees. You know, the ones with an old band or your favorite cartoon show. They had their shining moment, don’t let them be the focus now. Now is your time.

3— Wear too many neutrals. Some are fine and I love them, but you can be drowned by all the color around you and disappear. Let’s discuss the scene to see what might work best.

4—Get a spray on tan the day of or day before your session. If you’re going to do this, go for 3 days before so it can absorb and look more natural. Be sure to EXFOLIATE before your tan and moisturize. Rely on a professional.

5—DON’T give yourself a spray tan! I charge a boatload to fix this, just don’t.

6—Have chipped nail polish on your nails. Go for a full, neutral, paint or completely bare.

7—Get a new hairstyle or color! Stick with what you know and love. 

8— Ever wear NEON!!!
